Meetup/Hong Kong/Asian Month 2018

November 2018 is the Wikipedia Asian Month, an online editathon which aims to improve coverage of Wikipedia concerning Asian countries and territories. Though itself a virtual event, we – Hong Kong Wikimedians – are excited to hold an offline event on November 2018 to further its goal. All Wikimedians (regardless of experience, but a registered account is required) are welcome. Join us to do our best!

If you have not created a Wikimedia account before joining the event, there will be staff available to create one for you.

Directions 到達方法

MTR: The nearest MTR station is Fo Tan, served by East Rail Line. Leave the station at Exit D and go straight. Cross two junctions and here you are.
港鐵：參加者可以乘坐東鐵綫到達火炭站，從D出口離開，直行，橫過兩個路口後直行即可到達。
Bus 巴士: Possible to transfer from bus routes which stop at Sha Tin Town Centre Terminus to some of the bus routes listed below.
- From Kowloon and New Territories 九龍／新界巴士: 73A, 80M, 81K, 85, 88K, 280X, 798
Minibus 小巴: 65K, 481

不過，我又感到現時中文維基百科條目日益專門，要教新手維基人撰寫條目便出現困難，如教導撰寫「小行星」條目，內裡的Infobox排版工序，便令我感到有點不知所措了，所以將來有專題小組、地方小組甚至聚會便變得重要。--TYC (talk) 15:52, 3 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
今次在沙田辦維基聚會，地點選擇得很好，接近我的住處，加上鐵路因早前故障要半價酬賓，且配合特恵站減收二元，使出席意欲大增，也方便了沙田區的維基朋友，希望將來能多辦「社區維基聚會」。--TYC (talk) 15:52, 3 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
