Meta:Requests for adminship/Cspurrier
- The following discussion is preserved as an archive of a closed Meta-Wiki request. Please do not modify it.
I am a bureaucrat on EN Wikinews and an Admin on EN Wikibooks. I have over 5000 edits on EN Wikinews. I would like to be an admin here to be able to deal with the vandals and spamers I see when watching meta's Rcs. --Cspurrier 22:34, 29 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Support Meets the criteria, nothing to suggest adding him wouldn't make Meta a better place, and that's really all that needs to be said! Essjay Talk • Contact 04:45, 30 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

- neutral. Nothing personal, I don't see in your contributions on meta that either you fought vandalism without the admins tools, nor that you contributed so much to meta that I can believe you actually master all its rules and funky things, ie. the meta layer all f us strive to master ;-). notafish }<';> 09:45, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Support. Highly trusted user on en.wikinews, will learn the ropes on Meta quickly. But Craig, don't forget you belong to Wikinews. ;-)--Eloquence 11:12, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The procedure says that requests should include a link to the talk page on a wiki where this user had adminship. Cspurrier, could you provide such a link? Because I edit en.wikibooks, it would also help me if you confirmed that you were the same user as Wikibooks:en:User:Cspurrier. --Kernigh 01:52, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Sorry, I completely forgot :) Confirmed on both my EN books user talkpage and my EN Wikinews talkpage--Cspurrier 04:57, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
