Hi all, I’m Daniuu and would like to apply to become a sysop here at Meta-wiki. I’m mainly active in the area of counter-vandalism. In that capacity, I often bump into cross-wiki vandals that decide to visit meta. Unfortunately, it happens from time to time that a vandal starts doing their thing and no admin/steward is around to (globally – with an additional block here) block them and/or revdel the mess they leave behind. I’d like to request the admin rights to be able to further assist in these areas. I’m also active in making the life of our spammers harder. As a consequence, I am very well aware of the sensitivity of some of the tools (especially the global abuse filters and the spam blacklist). In the long term, I would like to become more involved in those areas (after gaining sufficient experience without actively editing them myself initially). I do have some administrative experience as a global sysop and on the Dutch Wikipedia (as sysop and abuse filter maintainer). If you would have any further questions, I will be happy to answer them!
