Self-nomination.

  1. I have been an EN editor since February 8, 2005 with over 7400 edits.
  2. I have a userpage on Meta with a link to my EN page and a valid email set.
  3. I am an active Meta editor.
  4. I am an active admin on EN.

I've slowed down my EN work somewhat, and have become more involved on Meta as a result. I plan to help with cleaning up some of the mess that has accumulated here, as well as watching out for WP articles that are accidentally posted here and require a transwiki and delete (which I am already doing via the {{delete}} tag). I tend to spend a lot of time in the #wikimedia IRC channel, and have noticed frequent requests for Meta admins that are often unsuccessful because there aren't always Meta admins available there. In short, I'd like adminship to be able to more quickly clean up the unneeded postings and in general be available for whatever admin tasks are needed. I've been a very prolific admin on EN, and would be proportionally prolific here.   12. Neutral : I have no idea what your contributions as a sysop on en is (but I am certain others will report on this). I can only speak for meta. On meta, you have roughly 150 contributions, most of them being to your user page or subpages, steward or admin voting pages and irc quotes. So, I am not really convinced you know about meta way (which has rules different from en). I would rather recommand you stick on meta for a little while longer and ask again soon. Nothing personal otherwise. Note : it might be that you indeed contribute by tagging pages for deletions (in this case, this is not visible in your contributions), so I vote neutral rather than oppose.
