Hello! I'm Flcelloguy. I'm been an admin since August 2005 on the English Wikipedia and have some 13,000 edits there. On meta, I have 185 edits. (See my En user page to see a link to my meta page; I added this quite a while ago. My emails should be activated on both meta and en.) The main reason I'm applying is for the ability to edit protected pages, specifically MediaWiki:Sitenotice, the global sitenotice. I'm a member of the Communications Committee internal subcommittee, and part of our responsiblity involves using the global sitenotice to make important announcements, etc., with the approproval of the ComCom. I would be able to help more with admin rights here instead of bugging someone every time we need it changed :-). Thanks for your consideration, and I would be happy to answer any questions you have!
