Hello, Wikimedian folks! I’d like to request Meta-Wiki adminship for various helping. I serve as an admin on the Korean Wikisource, Wikiquote, Wikinews(temp.) and Wikiversity BETA. (stalktoy).
I hope to help many Korean-language users. But I cannot edit some MediaWiki messages and protected pages for translations and updating. If I can edit these, I’m helpful to many. And I hope to help fill up a hole. Although many admins exist on meta, UTC+9±2 (Timezone) admins are few. Because my timezone is UTC+9, I’m more helpful to deal with remaining Meta affairs (including vandal monitoring).
I daily look around anons and newbies editing, then I occasionally saw Korean-language vandalism and machine translations mischief. However, no active one who can speak to Korean-language exists, anyone cannot realize whether it is questionable or not and cannot deal with it, also hesitate handling. Sometimes, I found nonsense Korean pages of 2~4 years ago… It makes me sad. I like if I cannot serve here, I enough understand and accept that someone may express concern about my reliability. Oppose No. You became a (temp) sysop on three small wikis within two months; the last one ended today and you even asked the stewards to hurry (though removed later, but still). Besides that I don't see why you need sysop rights here. I suggest you to first use the buttons you have. Flags don't exist to just 'collect' them. Trijnsteltalk 21:15, 15 September 2012 (UTC)
- I know my admin period is 'short', and Wikinews is tempo., just become 1 day ago. I worry about it and enough understand. But I think little misunderstanding exists. I didn't want to 'collect' sysop flags. I simply have made an effort to contributions, users saw that. They suggested serving admin, I accepted. Actually, I requested admin flag at Korean Wikisource. But that is not my ambition, possessive. And it is my big fault. Wikinews admin is short inactive, copyvio article remains during a half month. I think I can deal with it speedy (Because at that time election meets soon 7days), I hurry stewards. I apologize[1], but I want to apologize to stewards for my rudeness again. I like any oppose with any reason. Because I enough know my reliability. But.. 'collect flags' is not my fault... If I have such mind, I have no right to serve and contribute.
