I would like to request a bot flag for my bot MenoBot. Function: Substitution of templates tagged with {{Subst notice}} such as Template:Test and Template:Test2 using AWB. I can do the same task without the flag but prefer to have one so as not to miss up recentchanges. I am waiting for permission to make a trial run. --Meno25 23:22, 29 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- I see no problems with this. Cbrown1023 talk 01:58, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Feel free to make a trial run as far as I am concerned. Would there be much work to do on a small wiki such as this - AWB can get a lot done in a short space of time, thanks --Herby talk thyme 09:14, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- No problem..might fix a lot of
{{welcome}}
and Category:Warning templates errors...--Cometstyles 11:19, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Yes, that would really be good. --Thogo (talk) 11:40, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

- Sure, why not? --filip ⁂ 12:10, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- I think I have made enough test edits. Stopped the bot for now, waiting to be flagged. --Meno25 12:11, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- It looks nice. --Aphaia 12:37, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Given the support using established software & an experienced bot user I'm happy to flag the bot (equally it is a reversible 'crat action if anyone really disagrees!) so Done & thanks --Herby talk thyme 12:44, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Thank you for the very quick approval. --Meno25 14:10, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I thought we normally let these things run for a week to see if there are issues. I personally have no issues with this flag though, seems reasonable. ++Lar: t/c 14:29, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
