Hello. I would like to request for temporary adminship to cleanup Wikimedia Community User Group Sri Lanka and its number of subpages. The pages were intentionally duplicated in a previous translation attempt, but its quite confusing to most/new editors. Hence I am looking to use LangSwitch and simplify the pages. This request is a bit urgent as we are launching Wiki Loves Earth end of next week, and are hoping to get the pages neatened out by then. For transparency, I have been around since 2008, and I am an admin on enwiki and commons. Thank you, Rehman 12:24, 23 May 2019 (UTC)

- Support trusted and experienced administrator, no issues from me. Happy for this to be escalated due to limited scope and priority of work — billinghurst sDrewth 12:46, 23 May 2019 (UTC)
- Support I prefer if Rehman run for permanent adminship instead, those srilankan language skill is needed.--AldnonymousBicara? 12:52, 23 May 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you, Aldnonymous. I didn't consider permanent adminship due to the time sensitive nature of the task. If the community feels I could be of use here as a permanent admin, I would be happy to join as such. Rehman 14:39, 23 May 2019 (UTC)
- Support +sysop in enwp, commonswiki, I don't think they will abuse their tools. They seems to have an urgent need as well. Trusted user with demonstrated need, I don't see any reason to oppose. For Limited sysopship, typical duration is 1 month, is it okay Rehman or do you need longer? Thanks for helping.--Cohaf (talk) 13:03, 23 May 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you, Cohaf. One month is more than sufficient to get the required tasks done. Rehman 14:39, 23 May 2019 (UTC)
- Support for this purpose, broadly construed to maintain the related pages (including setting protection levels/deletes/merges/etc; not including user blocking even if related to those pages). Support for 1 month duration, as it was confirmed to be sufficient. — xaosflux Talk 05:08, 24 May 2019 (UTC)
- Support per Aldnonymous (but maybe we'll see gs in a short time too ;) The most appropriate would be to count until the end of June for the right (end of the WLE 2019) Regards. --Eihel (talk) 08:26, 24 May 2019 (UTC)

- Support per my position that anyone who is a sysop on a major wiki who is active enough on meta should be trusted with the sysop tools here. TonyBallioni (talk) 02:56, 25 May 2019 (UTC)
