Hello! I work for the Wikimedia Foundation, and I manage the translation and localization of our fundraising content :) I would like to begin to submit some content for translation, for example this FAQ page: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:CDenes_(WMF)/donate/FAQ . Thank you! Camille --CDenes (WMF) (talk) 13:38, 17 September 2020 (UTC)
- Normally we have other WMF stuff assign permissions to WMF people, I think that is what should eventually happen here too. That being said, it won't harm for you to answer if you have read mw:Help:Extension:Translate/Page translation example and mw:Help:Extension:Translate/Page translation administration? --Base (talk) 13:55, 17 September 2020 (UTC)
- When it comes to the example page you have linked, it can be improved by using tvars for links and by splitting the list into small units (up to one list item per unit). You can find how to do it in the documentation mentioned. --Base (talk) 13:57, 17 September 2020 (UTC)
- Defer to WMF tech support, normally the bad self nomination (Special:Diff/20457960) may have been enough to garnish a "come back after you learn some more" type response. — xaosflux Talk 18:29, 17 September 2020 (UTC)
- That particular thing matters more for regular adminships, translate adminship nominations are more about understanding how the Translate extension works and what are the practices for tagging pages for translation. --Base (talk) 18:37, 17 September 2020 (UTC)
- Normally I'd expect anyone with advanced permissions to understand basic wikilnks, but if this is an employee acting in their official capacity - then WMF can deal with this as they are responsible for supervising their employees anyway. — xaosflux Talk 22:48, 17 September 2020 (UTC)
- Keen to defer to WMF Staff rights allocation method per Xaosflux. Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 13:49, 20 September 2020 (UTC)

User:CDenes (WMF): Would you please get the rights via the internal WMF channels? --MF-W 21:16, 21 September 2020 (UTC)
- Will do! Thank you -- CDenes (WMF) (talk) 10:18, 23 September 2020 (UTC)
Closing here. --MF-W 18:33, 23 September 2020 (UTC)
