Hi! I'm Eric. As a volunteer for the Polish Wikimedia community, I focused my efforts on helping with projects such as Wikinews, and translating a huge number of meta articles into our native language. I know more than 3 languages, and I have also supported the management of translation projects of many tools that we using every day. For example, the Discordapp was supported by my gigantic contribution (I was awarded by Devs). I believe that I could also support Wikimedia in the internationalization process with my knowledge and skills.
I'm always active on our local Wikimedia PL Discord Server if someone needs help or have any question regarding Wiki. --Ombre988 (talk) 01:05, 11 August 2022 (UTC)

edit@Ombre988:, it's nice that you're willing to translate the Wikimedia-related stuff but I have a question: how are you going to benefit from the translation admin rights? Msz2001 (talk) 08:52, 11 August 2022 (UTC)
- When working with our local files for a short time, you may notice accepted incorrect translations with some minor or major errors. Due to the fact that I am actively reviewing it, I could automatically mark the versions as reviewed which will move the projects forward. Ombre988 (talk) 18:55, 11 August 2022 (UTC)
- @Ombre988: However, per the Translate extension documentation, it's impossible to self-review any translations. For example this page has been translated by translation admins only and none of the messages is marked as 'revieved'. On the other hand, the review right (
(translate-messagereview)
) is granted to all users and t-admin is not necessary in order to review others' translations. Msz2001 (talk) 09:27, 12 August 2022 (UTC)

Please prepare a page for translation, complying with internationalization guidelines, so we ensure you well know Translate markup syntax. --Pols12 (talk) 11:24, 11 August 2022 (UTC)
- Do you mean any specific page or can I choose something from "Translation Request"? I think that all guidelines and documentation files were read be me properly. :) Ombre988 (talk) 19:00, 11 August 2022 (UTC)
- Any page you think it should be translatable. Bad markup costs time for translators and other translation admin; so I think it is better to train before to act. 🙂 -- Pols12 (talk) 00:51, 12 August 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose thanks for offering your help, but I would like to see more experience (first edit on Meta was four days ago, just a couple of hours later you requested translation adminship). --Johannnes89 (talk) 07:12, 14 August 2022 (UTC)
- Ok, I understand. I'll continue my contribution and will back with the request in near future. Regards, Ombre988 (talk) 16:45, 14 August 2022 (UTC)
- Oppose Your first edit was only five days ago (August 10). Please come back one you've gained more experience with translations though. --SHB2000 (talk | contribs) 06:01, 15 August 2022 (UTC)
