Hi there. I would like to be assigned this right, because it would be great to be able to simply add the translation pages. I spend a lot of time to check and translate them into Danish. It would be nice to get all those things. I intend to spend much more time translated. It's fine if the refuse my request, but it would be great if in approved it :) Have a continued good day. - Have you read the documentation to see what translation administrators are able to do? As it is mostly marking page versions for translation, are there any pages you would like to add to the translation system? --MF-W 18:32, 9 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Yes I have read it. The reason that I want it is because I often come across some pages that can be patrolled. Greetings --Simeondahl (talk) 19:39, 9 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Hi, you don't need translation admin rights for patrolling pages. As MF-W said above, it allows for a limited set of actions. Translations can still be done without translationadmin rights. Regards. -- MarcoAurelio (talk) 21:38, 9 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Yes it can. But it would be nice to have it when I'm doing some translations. If i need to change the spelling in locked text. I can delete things if it is sheer nonsense. So it is a useful tool to have when I'm translating and correcting spelling. Greetings Simeondahl (talk) 21:50, 9 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Hello. I've just tested and Translationadminship rights do not allow you to delete pages nor edit on locked texts without being an administrator first. Given that I'm sorry but I tend to say no to this request. Regards. -- MarcoAurelio (talk) 12:59, 10 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Okay. I would also like to patrol. I can not now, and it's annoying. I use the a lot of time on it, and it would be nice to be able makers them patrolled. Greetings Simeondahl (talk) 16:01, 10 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Do you mean to review translations (Review)? That can be done by every registered user. --MF-W 16:14, 10 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- He probably means he wants the Meta:Autopatrollers permission? I can set this to you if you like. Regards. -- MarcoAurelio (talk) 16:42, 10 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Yes, thats will be great. Greetings Simeondahl (talk) 18:16, 10 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Autopatrol doesn't enable you to patrol anything, though. It just means that other people won't need to patrol your stuff. Jafeluv (talk) 12:50, 16 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Even the flag you're asking for won't let you patrol; you need the regular admin flag for that. Courcelles 06:04, 21 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Perhaps he was talking about the "Patroller" userright, which he has at da.wikipedia, but which doesn't exist here. --Philosopher Let us reason together. 15:15, 21 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I cannot see community support or favour granting Simeondahl the requested access. Also translation administrator requests should be backed up with solid motivation and supported by a consistent number of active contributors.
