In my opinion the Fijian Wikipedia should be close. It has only stubs , and the Main Page. very few activity. send to incubator.
Support Closure
editOppose Closure
edit- Oppose - stubs is good enough and it has a lot of articles..--Cometstyles 05:28, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose Oliver Stegen 13:10, 30 July 2008 (UTC) This is the major language on Fiji with widespread usage in broadcasting and in the press. I don't think there is lack of interest but rather a lack of awareness. Just because the nation of Fiji is a small country doesn't mean it should be neglected. Finally, since when can an anonymous user (who showed up only on a single day, viz July 18) propose the closure of all kinds of small language wikipedias? He should be blocked and his proposals deleted!
- Oppose Closing would harm the project. Keeping it up and available does not hurt anyone. Drumming up more activity would be a good idea though. --Purodha Blissenbach 17:36, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
Neutral
edit- Neutral. It does seem that almost all activity is updating interwiki links - there don't seem to be any active participants in the project. Whilst I would like to see a thriving Fijian project, there seems to be little interest from speakers of the language. That said, closing the project seems rather a major step given that there isn't much of a problem with vandalism and interest in it may pick up in future. WJBscribe (talk) 03:29, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
