First day, we gave introduction to Wikisource and taught some basics including how to type in Punjabi using tools for laptop systems and mobile phone. Wikisource editors mostly find it easy to edit on mobile. This also makes it easy for editors who have resource accessibility issues to edit on Wikisource. The current interface of Wikisource makes it easy for mobile users to edit using their smartphones. Satdeep Gill, Charan Gill, and Wikilover90 gave talks and demonstration of various tools and tricks to be used on Wikisource.
On day second, it was activity session divided in two parts. In the first part, all new users edited pages and asked issues they faced. A survey was done in the activity session during the second part of the workshop to access what kind of works people of different age groups and fields find useful. The research showed different variety of books that people were looking for, including, Old Literature novels, lexicography books, encyclopedia, religious books they were doing research on, classical poetry, and philosophical books.
