edit- Support Support: Native speakers of Banjar have the competency and willingness to contribute to this project in the long-term. Hence the Banjar language deserves to be given the opportunity and priviledge to have its own language edition of Wikipedia along with the existing Indonesian languages such as Javanese, Sundanese, and so on. --Jose77 08:41, 20 February 2010 (UTC)

- Support - Imagine a world in which every single person on the planet is given free access to the sum of all human knowledge in his or her own language, or something similar. So why not also for this language which has a good incubator start. Meursault2004 17:28, 17 July 2010 (UTC)

- Support As of now we don't have Wikipedia in languages indigenous to Kalimantan. The native user interested in starting this project is relatively large. This could be the first encyclopaedia in that language, and most of the native speakers (I assume) can use Indonesian Wikipedia as a stepping stone in creating the first pages. - Support support : It has a good incubator start and should be created. Moreover, the number of native speakers willing to contribute to the project make a project viable in the long term ; so why not. --Jagwar 交談 homewiki 13:14, 31 July 2010 (UTC)

editThe project has been approved by the Language committee. We are waiting now for up to seven days for Board's decision, which should be a formality. In the mean time, please fill the next questionnaire, so we can give necessary data for opening the project: --Millosh 04:10, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
- Language code: bjn
- Site url: bjn.wikipedia.org
- Project name ("Wikipedia" in native language):Wikipidia
- Project namespace (usually the same as the project name):Wikipidia
- Project talk namespace:Wikipidia pamandiran
- Project logo (135x135 PNG image generated from some decent SVG image):svg logo, png logo
- Default project timezone (replace TZN with the timezone name, like CET and UTC+-X with difference between your TZ and UTC): WITA (UTC+8)
--Millosh 04:10, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
I put Project logo SVG Image 135x155 for this time. Let me asking Ezagren to put 135x135 PNG image next time. And I think some questionare may incorrectly reply by me, please advice me if any. Thanks--J Subhi ”pamandiran” 12:55, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
- I am not able to make the Wikipedia logo, I created a logo and upload in Commons is mostly for the help my friend. Ezagren 14:42, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
Are you sure that you want "Wikipidia" in the Latin script? Also, "Project talk namespace" is usually something like "Wikipedia talk". Are you sure that "Pamandiran" is good enough translation? --Millosh 09:19, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, I'm sure want "Wikipidia" in the Latin script. But, if logo, take Jawi script. I'm also sure that "Pamandiran" is good enough translation (Pamandiran, Pandir (Banjar)=Talk; Pembicaraan, Bicara (Indonesia)=Talk). Ezagren 11:50, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
- Eza, you are right talk is pamandiran in Banjar, but for project talk namespace, I agree with Milosh to be Wikipidia pamandiran. Thanks.--J Subhi ”pamandiran” 12:49, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
