- Comments:
- Skolt Sami is an official language in Inari. It uses the Latin alphabet and has a standard orthography.
- Considering the very small number of speakers this Wikipedia would be doomed unless at least a few native speakers are committed. As long as no native speakers declare their interest, I oppose this project. Arbeo 16:24, 19 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- I support this project! The world needs Skolt Sami Wikipedia. It is true that only 400 speaks Skolt Sami, but there probably are more people that at least know the basic. I will help, if I learn Skolt Sami. Urvabara 06:09, 9 August 2005 (UTC)

- Oppose - I change my vote if exist a native speaker.--Taichi - (あ!) 23:40, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
- Support - I'm not a native speaker of Skolt Sámi, but I do know the language. I would prefer that native speaker would be included though, so that revisions can be made to grammatical errors as I do not write flawless Skolt Sámi. A Skolt version of Wikipedia might be what the community needs to get the youngsters to start speaking in Skolt more often as it is viewed as a non-prestigious language in spite of all the work done in the region, mainly because the kids can't find stuff in the language on the net. --Yupik 13:18, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
