Research talk:Prioritization of Wikipedia Articles/Importance

Complete and improved Wikipedia coverage of K-2

edit

Maybe it can be of your interest a research we did to select a series of articles related what Italians study at schools (from primary school up to high school). here you find a visualization related to the articles selected https://itwiki-scuola-italiana.toolforge.org/ (sorry. the project is only in Italian [[1]] but please have a look to the visualizations).

The research was meant to identify articles (specifically for Italy but I did something similar for South Africa some years ago within the Wikipedia Primary School project focusing only on primary school), to analyze the articles and to trigger new contributions and improvements (in particular is very important the quality of the summery). We are now proceeding to a phase 2 with an online quality festival and a report one year later of the articles (we are basically establishing with Wikimedia Italia an observatory of these articles).

I think this kind of lists are excellent for notability (in particular if you focus on different countries of the world); the community recognizes articles related to the school systems as notable. Let me know if you need any further information. Best regards, iopensa (talk) 17:04, 2 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
