Question about how Global Bots work
I would like some clarification on how the Bots that maintain the webs of interlanguage links work – more specifically, on what it takes to trigger one. By way of case study, I'll use this edit of mine adding a ky: link to a page on en:. That edit left the situation as follows:
- en ↔ roa-rup:
- en → ky
- ky ≠ roa-rup
Now, why hasn't any Bot picked up on this, and added roa-rup → ky, ky → en and ky → roa-rup links? (Sorry if this was the wrong place to post this, by the way, but I could only see Bot request pages on Meta, not general question/discussion pages.) It Is Me Here t / c 12:48, 19 September 2012 (UTC)
