Reason

Right now I'm residing in IIT Bhubaneswar, and I've been using an Institute-owned Desktop-PC for editing, and publishing the Wikipedia pages after my class for that get only 1-2 hours daily (week days). I already have an old HP Laptop-PC (Win OS) with me which I use exclusively for hard-core processing of institute project work. With a new Acer Laptop-PC the productivity would be leveraged many-folds and I can dedicate it entirely for doing Wikimedia related work, plus with mobility I'm sure I can read, edit and publish Wikipedia pages on-the-go. Overall, in short, it'll help me contribute better to this foundation.

Future activities

As I'd be a graduate student from IIT Bhubaneswar by May, 2018, I can invest my time nicely to improve the text and provide clarity to the readers. Also, as a freshmen, and a fluent speaker and writer of Assamese and Hindi language other than English, I'll edit/create new pages having these languages as well in future.
