1)Yes, I was there @Santali community strategic meeting in 2024,Kolkata.In this Meetup Santali community focuses on creating more digital/online content in the Wikimedia platforms. The proposed project, Mission Olchiki-2025, aligns perfectly with the strategic plans of the Santali community and Wikimedians of Santali Language User Group. The project's primary objective is to promote the Santali language and culture through digital preservation and education.
The project's goals are closely tied to the community's aspirations, which include:
Preservation of Language and Culture: Increasing Santali content on Wikimedia platforms to ensure the preservation and promotion of the community's rich heritage. Community Empowerment: Engaging the Santali community in Wikimedia projects to empower them to take ownership of their digital presence. Global Visibility: Enhancing the representation of Santali on Wikimedia to raise global awareness about the Santali community.
To achieve these goals, the project proposes various strategic actions, such as:
Organizing Edit-a-thons and Content Creation Drives: Regular events to encourage the creation and improvement of Santali content on Wikimedia platforms. Training and Workshops: Capacity-building sessions to enhance the skills of Santali contributors in areas such as editing, content creation, and community management. Your application has been approved
editHello @Durga Soren,
Congratulations! Your application has been approved in the amount of INR 418,000 from 10 February 2025 to 30 April 2025 (adjusted end date for more lead time for implementation). Please know that the approval is contingent on your response to the follow-up questions. During the pre-screening process, the finance team from your appointed service provider also captured the following comments:
* No amount has been budgeted for Chartered Accountant fee
Please adjust your proposed budget accordingly based on the approve amount and include the chartered accountant fee. You can do that by adding a new tab to your existing working document and name it revised - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1hdXjiaMNVjgbqiJy6JAC2B-1bI8bkOqb82NIQ6SHiX0/edit?gid=0#gid=0

We highly encourage you to submit all supporting documents and endorse the related paperwork within the stipulated time frame. When in doubt, proactively reach out to the CIS finance team and copy your programme officer.
