May I speak out frankly?

edit

I am a user blocked in en, fr and German Wikipedia (but regarded as a constructive member in Italian WP). I would like to speak out frankly but I do not want to get punished for it. So I need a kind of insurance that my report will not lead to further punishment (like a global bloc). Regards--Meister und Margarita (talk) 21:46, 13 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

I do not even know why I was blocked in enWP. I have sent several eMails to the person who blocked me and one to the arbitration comitee. But I never got a response.--Meister und Margarita (talk) 08:54, 14 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
yeah, it is hard to know what "effectiveness" means, when you have them handed out for content reasons, policy disputes, or in a summary way. Slowking4 (talk) 13:10, 17 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello User:Meister und Margarita and User:Slowking4, this page is for general discussion about measuring the effectiveness of blocks. This is not a venue for re-discussing previous decisions about blocks. So, it is not appropriate for you to add details about your personal situation. For that reason, I also removed the mention of another particular user who is blocked.

If either of you need information about how or where to appeal a block or where to find information about the reason for a block, you can email me and I'll send you that information. I would much appreciate you following this approach. SPoore (WMF) , Trust and Safety Specialist, Community health initiative (talk) 15:36, 17 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. eM has been sent.--Meister und Margarita (talk) 19:47, 17 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
Frankly, I think the person who blocked me should be forced to answer or to resign.--Meister und Margarita (talk) 19:54, 17 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
