Talk:Trolling
Now that we have definition of 'Troll' would it not be better to move this material to troll and avoid this redirect? 88.110.101.169 17:25, 2 September 2005 (UTC)

- I don't know in what category to put you, but I've seen alarmists like this before and it always turn out to be an empty threat. Kids thinking other kids can break a system la wiki... that's kinda funny really.
A little comment about the info here: firstly, I see that trolls are described as "person inhabiting Wikiland who seeks to cause disharmony and Wikistress in the community". The only thing right in here is the stress caused in a comunity. The trolls are not refraimed to your precious wiki, and a general definition would have been more desirable.
As a little mentioning, I had some problems with a sysop bitting me when I was a newbie and got banned cause the guy thought I was a troll (the little xenophobe) and subsequently made me unleash my trolling capacities. I don't usually do it for fun tho, but I've seen trolls all over the net, and they appear wherever there is a free registration open (not just wiki). Anyhow, that experience with that collie made me conceal better my identity and use proxies since then so I won't have problems as results of encounters with people like that. It's something like WikiBEANS, don't always assume you're dealing with a troll, and more over, a troll can be made, even for a short time. -- TrollWatcher (85.17.145.7 15:27, 21 October 2007 (UTC))
