Wikitechstorm

edit

The Wikitechstorm has been held for two consecutive years in the Netherlands. It is aimed at providing tech skills targeting women, non binary and underrepresented communities mixing experimented users with new contributors who can come and get mentorship, courses and advice from more experimented users. The two sessions were a real success, and we wish to bring this event in the swiss and francophone community in 2023.

Wikiwitch GLAM and Gender gap project

edit

Wikiwitch project The wikiwitch project was born in Sion and has led to a witch map being produced with wikidata entries. Then a similar academic project was done for Scottland with remarquable results. With user:Ciell we launched a wikidata witch project to work more consistently on the needed wikidata properties to describe witch hunts and witch persecutions. During the Wikimedia summit, User:Rosiestep of the wikimedia board of trustees made a call for the emmergence of a more ambitious project to be launched internationally, that we presented togeteher at the Wikimedia North American Conference. Several african women are interested (among which one of LSP board's member responsible for Africa User:Adù229). As Switzerland is one of the main countries to have burned accused and persecuted witches, we plan to start by organizing 3 editathons in swiss towns : Geneva, Lausanne and Neuchatel (we have allready in the past organized editathons in Fribourg and Sion). Weekly meetings

edit

Up until the confinement we had face to face meetings in Geneva every week. We are restarting these in Meyrin (close to the CERN whom we wish to invite as well) in the Bibliothèque Forum Meyrin (see the first editathon that we plan to reproduce in March 2023 as well. Wikimeetings Meyrin

Collaborations with GLAM institutions

edit

We have one planned collaboration (which will be followed by two others in Romandie) with the museum Photo Elysée on the 11th March 2023 on women photographers. Another editathon is planned on the 4th of March 2023 in Meyrin with the collaboration of the communal archives and the public library Forum Meyrin with possible support from the commune.

Community Fanzine

edit

Fanzine The Fanzine that we designed throughout 2021 for our fifth anniversary to be distributed in 2022 has been a huge success. We want to make this experience again through a larger scale by engaging all projects having a gender bias reduction component (gender + LGBTIQ+) to participate to one page each, as designing a whole fanzine is a lot of time for volunteers who also want to contribute content on the projects. We want to document the history of the gender gap issues on the larger project page with the time line acroos langague and projects. We plan to ask Women in Red, Wiki Loves Women, Editatoras, Wiki Mujeres, Wiki Donne and Frauen in rot to contribute a page as well as LSP african groups + LGBTIQ user group + Zagreb group Natacha LSP (talk) 09:51, 30 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Budget

edit

Bonjour, est-il possible pour plus de clarté de mettre le budget exact accepté sur la page ? Il me semble que le montant est 19000 et pas 15000 par ailleurs :/ Natacha LSP (talk) 08:52, 31 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
