Issues and maintenance
- Wikimedia Commons cannot be edited or uploaded to for a brief period on 26 January at 07:00 (UTC) due to maintenance. Wikitech will be unavailable for a brief period on 28 January at 09:00 (UTC) due to maintenance. [1][2]
Changes later this week
- The bracket matching feature will be added to the CodeMirror syntax highlighter. The first wikis that have been confirmed to have this feature enabled on 27 January are the German and Catalan Wikipedia. [3]
The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 26 January. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 27 January. It will be on all wikis from 28 January (calendar).
