This user registered an account in August 2011 and immediately jumped into editing, creating his first article on a notable World War II pilot from India and applying to become an online ambassador for the Wikipedia Education Program.
Creating articles on topics related to India proved to be problematic for him, however – the second article he created, Indian Society of International Law, was tagged for speedy deletion, and he was warned by SDPatrolBot for removing the speedy deletion tag. The article was tagged multiple times for different criteria for speedy deletion, including copyright violation, promotion, and notability, the last of which the user found particularly unwarranted. In the end, the article was kept, though the user had to recreate it after one deletion.
Despite this and other setbacks (the notability of his articles continued to be challenged and many were deleted), the user continues to be an active contributor as of March 2012.
