Template talk:Unsigned

Merge with {{unsigned2}} and {{unsigned3}}

Hi. I think it would be a lot easier if we could have a single template for this. Any objections or ideas? — M 17:00, 03 December 2014 (UTC)

{{unsigned}} and {{unsigned2}} have their two positional ("anonymous") parameters reversed. Merging these into one template may be more confusing than it's worth. I'm not sure {{unsigned3}} is even necessary. - dcljr (talk) 02:49, 24 August 2017 (UTC)

@MarcoAurelio Noting that for now, I've changed start-Unsigned2-end to a wrapper template for start-Unsigned-end (as already done on enwiki, for example). There was a third parameter not defined in the regular start-Unsigned-end template, but a search for /[uU]nsigned2\|(?:[^\}]*3\s*=|[^\|\}]*\|[^\|\}]*\|)/ in all transclusions showed that no page seemed to have been using the third parameter, even when empty. ~~~~

No results for hastemplate:unsigned2 insource:/[uU]nsigned2\|[^\}]*[|=] *[+\-][0-9]/ prefix:all: as well. Compare Commons where there are translusions of c:Template:Unsigned2 with the 3rd parameter: 15 results. Jack who built the house (talk) 12:40, 5 September 2021 (UTC)
