(Telugu Wikipedia's 20th Anniversary Celebrations)

Tewiki Pandaga-2024 is the celebration of Telugu Wikipedia's 20th anniversary. Telugu Wikimedia's user group decided to celebrate the anniversary in Visakhapatnam for 3 days on 26,27 and 28th of January 2024. CIS A2K participated in the management and funding of the event.

Background and Theme

Telugu Wikipedia user group intended to celebrate the occasion while crossing the 20th-year milestone. The theme of the program is to celebrate, recreate, review, and develop a strategy for the future growth of the Telugu Wikipedia and sister projects.

Scholarships Timeline

• The call for scholarship applications to participate in the conference opened for 10 days from 10.12.2023 to 20.12.2023 and closed on 20 December 2023, 23:59 IST.
• Displaying the list of selected Telugu wikipedians for scholarships 24.12.2023.
• Confirmation of selected Telugu Wikipedians by 30.12.2023.

Visakhapatnam Project

The theme of the Visakhapatnam Project is to add articles/pages on Visakhapatnam and add content to the already existing pages

"Wiki Loves Vizag"- Photography Contest

"Wiki Loves Vizag" photography contest aimed at capturing pictures of the nature, buildings, and heritage of Visakhapatnam.

"Endaro Wikimedianlu"

As a part of Tewiki's 20th Anniversary celebrations, a book felicitating the active contributors of Telugu Wikipedia and sister projects like - Wikisource, and Wiktionary. is published under the title, "Endaro Wikimedianlu". The print copy is distributed during the event. The PDF COPY is available in the Wikimedia Commons and also can be downloaded from Wikisource from the following links.

"Calender"

As a part of Tewiki's 20th Anniversary celebrations, a calendar was published jointly by Tewiki and CIS/A2K and distributed during the event to all the participants.
