User:Shanel/Steward Recognition Program

This is an archive for the Steward Recognition Program, an initiative that I, Ottava Rima, started after many discussions with both Stewards and non-Stewards alike that felt that a specially designed thank you for going above and beyond the normal call of duty. This program will honor one hard working Steward per month and give a special notice to two others who put forth a notable effort during that month. To ensure that there is no favoritism or problems, a Steward will not be recognized as the Steward for the Month more than once every 6 months. This program is not a competition or an award, but merely a thanks for hard work, dedication, and service.

February 2010

I would like to thank User:Mike.lifeguard for his hard work and dedication to the project. During this month, he has dealt with vandalism of all types and was valuable in protecting smaller wikis in addition to work at permissions, steward requests/Bot status, and other important Steward tasks. He has made himself regularly available and have shown that he is an important asset as a Steward. As such, I would like to thank Mike.lifeguard for all of his hard work.

Two others should be honored for their hard work: User:DerHexer and User:Pathoschild. I thank them both because they have been invaluable assets with their time and dedication.

March 2010

I would like to thank a new steward, User:Dferg, this month since this is the first time the new group has been active. There are many great returning stewards, but there is only so many spots and I wanted to emphasis some of the new people who may not have the same patterns, systems, and the well defined routine. Already, Dferg is among Meta's most dedicated contributors and his already proven himself as a well-rounded and active steward with a level of productivity that cross-wiki users should aspire to. I would like to thank Dferg for all of his hard work.

Two others should be honored for their hard work: User:Thogo and User:Jyothis. I thank them both because I have heard many great things from users seeking help.

April 2010

I would like to thank User:DerHexer for his hard work and dedication to the project. During this month, he worked in various time consuming areas, including performing CU and OS duties along with permissions work. As a non-steward, I do not have the ability to know how difficult such actions are, but I am thankful that he is able to devote many hours towards them. He is also regularly available and has always shown himself to be an important asset to the community. As such, I would like to thank DerHexer for all his hard work.

Two others should be honored for their hard work: User:Laaknor and User:Mercy. I thank them both because they have been extremely helpful and dedicated to helping the project.
