There are a growing number of Wikipedia projects, some very active and others quite stagnant. For this reason, I have made a list of the thousand biographical subjects that I believe would be the most essential to the Wikipedia project. The articles listed here should contain at least a minimum amount of basic, useful information on the topics covered so that they will encourage people contributing to the different editions of our project to help in their growth, to make them seem more than just a useful reference for readers.
