Requesting permissions
Hi मनीष पँवार, in the past couple of days you have asked for a several permissions (rollback on hiwiki [1], global rollback [2], global IP block exempt [3], global sysop [4], sysop in hiwikivoyage [5]) even though you are clearly lacking knowledge and experience. Please take your time to get to know the communities where you want to get involved and gain the relevant experience before requesting such rights. - Small wikis usually don't need sysops as the community is small and deleting nonsense/spam as well as blocking vandals can be done by global syops.
- And if hiwikivoyage decides to elect their own sysops, this must be discussed within the community. Stewards cannot grant you sysop permission without local discussion/vote as stated in Steward requests/Permissions#Administrator access.
- My advice: Just take your time, write and correct articles, get involved in fighting vandalism, get to know the local community and wait until you've got more experience and the blessing of your local community members. Johannnes89 (talk) 18:29, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
