editInstead of editing each wiki manually, why don't you just edit User:Pratyya Ghosh/global.js? PiRSquared17 (talk) 14:17, 27 October 2013 (UTC)
- @PiRSquared17: Ya, from now on I'll do that job. But now I'm editing all the pages again, cause I'm going to remove the sandbox gadget. Cause it isn't working and the main thing is it has broken my global js gadget. Now no global gadget's working for me.--Pratyya (Hello!) 03:31, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
- It's probably a moot point now that you have created the pages, but could you please check stuff multiple times before posting it on hundreds of wikis? At least one user complained to me about the capitalization and "rudeness" of your global talkpage, but I don't think it's worth another global edit to fix. Even though you might need to purge to update, I love the idea of the timezone clock. PiRSquared17 (talk) 03:40, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
- @PiRSquared17: I don't know who saw "rudeness" in my global talkpages. I made that clear in those pages that they might not get reply if they message me there. And it happened. Recently someone from it.wikivoyage found me at english wiki. If he/she messaged me previously then s/he would get quick reply. About the capitalization, I made that intentionally. Nothing to complain about that. Sorry for making your script controversial. After this common.js edit I'll not use that script. (if I don't need badly) Also what about the "timezone clock"? I really don't understand that. At last is there any script that easily modifies our preference?--Pratyya (Hello!) 03:50, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
- I meant that I liked the clock you added to your user talk page. I personally didn't find your user talk page bad, but see here for what I meant. I'm glad you found my script useful. If there's anything that could be fixed easily, please let me know. PiRSquared17 (talk) 03:52, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
- Hey @PiRSquared17: If he doesn't like caps lock so what's my problem. A user can make any kind of userpage following the policy. I haven't done anything that breaks the policy. Then what's his problem? He just can't remove my user talk page. Isn't it. I'm undoing that edit. Anyway your tool is just excellent. Just Excellent! About the clock to let user know what's my time right this moment. Is it wiser, wishing to get a quick reply or not......... User will understand in a jiffy. One question is there anyway to modify my preferences at every wiki?--Pratyya (Hello!) 03:59, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
- (RC stalker) I'm actually very surprised at the person who reverted you there. It is your user talk page, and they had no business modifying what you put there, especially without contacting you first. As for the preferences, there is unfortunately no way to modify them globally built in to the software, but there might be some script which can do it. Ajraddatz (Talk) 04:06, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
- @Ajraddatz: I'm hoping this gets built in to the software, but I'm currently building User:PiRSquared17/Global UP. I really hope this is implemented in an extension, however. PiRSquared17 (talk) 18:36, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
