Hello Stang! Thank you for your contributions, and I hope your week has been going well. Though the above-linked page is only one sentence, it is in the correct language and seems to describe the subject term. The article's creator has also made a lot of other Hausa Wiktionary pages. Given that it seems to be in-scope content, I am not comfortable with global sysops handling this request. If you would like it deleted, please contact hawikt's local admin. Please be bold and help translate this article! Christmas tree production occurs worldwide on Christmas tree farms, in artificial tree factories and from native strands of pine and fir trees. Christmas trees, pine and fir trees purposely grown for use as a Christmas tree, are grown on plantations in many western nations, including Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States. In Australia, the industry is relatively new, and nations such as the United States, Germany and Canada are among world leaders in annual production. Great Britain consumes about 8 million trees annually, while in the United States between 35 and 40 million trees are sold during the Christmas season. Artificial Christmas trees are mostly produced in the Pearl River delta area of China. Christmas tree prices were described using a Hotelling-Faustmann model in 2001, the study showed that Christmas tree pr (Please update the interwiki links on Wikidata of your language version of the article after each week's translation is finished so that all languages are linked to each other.) Please be bold and help translate this article! The Lobster War (also known as the Lobster Operation; Portuguese: Guerra da Lagosta; French: Conflit de la langouste) was a dispute over spiny lobsters which occurred from 1961 to 1963 between Brazil and France. The Brazilian government refused to allow French fishing vessels to catch spiny lobsters 100 miles (160 km) off the Brazilian northeast coast, arguing that lobsters "crawl along the continental shelf", while the French maintained that "lobsters swim" and that, therefore, they might be caught by any fishing vessel from any country. The dispute was resolved unilaterally by Brazil, which extended its territorial waters to a 200-nautical-mile (370 km; 230 mi) zone, taking in the disputed lobsters' bed. Hello, I'm Szymon, member of the team working on the Desktop Improvements/Vector 2022 project. I need two things translated into zh:
- Two banners - a tiny thing, 5 short lines of text. We'll put a banner encouraging to switch to Vector 2022 on all projects (sister projects, etc.), and another one encouraging to share feedback.
- An announcement - that one's longer and could take, I think, up to half an hour. I'd be tremendously grateful if you found some time. I'd rather not send it in English, and unfortunately, there are not many helpful and active translators.
On a side note, later, perhaps next week, there will be another thing ready - an instruction for prototype testing. We'll ask volunteers what visual design they'd like to see on wikis. Feel free to check this all out!
Thank you in advance. SGrabarczuk (WMF) (talk) 13:47, 8 June 2022 (UTC)

The community vote of this year's Board Elections are close. As always voter mails will be sent out. To invite as many community members as possible in their native tongue your help is very much appreciated. While there are already plenty of translations we would appreciate you to check for languages still missing and to contribute translations for these.
The mails are short, just a bit about two times 200 words, a few minutes of work.
Your support is very important as it helps communities to learn about the election and to cast their vote.
Best, Denis Barthel (WMF)
