Description

edit

On the 5th of October 2019, we gathered together over 100 learners and teachers to create articles on Wikipedia in indigenous languages, in an event called AfroCuration. Our venue was Constitution Hill’s Old Fort Prison museum. But we also brought the knowledge and activism elements alive for the students by having historical characters there on the day to interact with them. We heard from Justice Edwin Cameron, Joyce Seroke, Adv Ntembesa, Adv Tembeka, and Leon Wessels. We had so much fun, and the learners won lots of prizes.
