Speciala Temo: Junularo subtenanta homajn rajtojn
Celebrate the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights
by strengthening the factual coverage of human rights on Wikipedia!
We need your help to increase the coverage of key human rights topics on Wikimedia Projects!
The core of this call to action is on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and its creation! This foundational document and its history is fundamental to understanding: we need your help in making sure these topics are covered and well written in your language!
Temo pri la Junularo
The second part of this year's call to action is focused on a special theme this year: Youth standing up for human rights.
As part of that theme want to highlight topics, individual activists, organizations and campaigns that recognize the positive role of youth and their leadership role/participation in collective movement as a source of ideas and solutions for a better world.
With 1.2 billion youth aged 15-24 years globally, accounting for one out of every six people worldwide, there are more adolescents and young people alive today than at any time in human history, and many of them are in the the poorest countries or in contexts highly exposed. In the last few years, youth have frequently been major drivers of political, economic and social change.
Help us write youth involved in human rights into Wikimedia projects!
