Abstract: The workshop with the English Wikipedia administrators is for WikiIndaba 2023 participants who have tried to edit, or are currently editing, the English Wikipedia, and would like to better understand how it works. The workshop will cover English Wikipedia workflows, important rules/policies, and common issues. It will cover new article creation, article improvement, article maintenance templates, talkpage communications, Articles For Creation, Articles For Deletion, and the role of WikiProjects. It will cover some common mistakes and steps to take to avoid or correct them. Tips and tricks will help show ways to improve the participant's editing experience. A demonstration of New Page Patrol will provide real-time examples of what a New Page Patroller sees, how they make decisions, and why they skip some articles but handle others.		Level of advancement: basic, medium, advanced
		Special requirements: The participants who want to attend the workshop need to fill in the form (the privacy statement is here); and agree to a follow-up survey in 3 months.

How will this session be beneficial for the communities in the region? The participants of the workshop will better understand the workflows of the English Wikipedia. By implementing the information shared in this workshop, participants will: improve what they edit and how they do it increase their contributions lower the number of edit reverts
