Abstract:
The "Doc Your Tool" project empowers WikiIndaba Hackathon 2024 participants to create user-friendly documentation for valuable tools and projects. This session will explore two main approaches: 1. Documenting as you develop and documentation-driven development. Participants will learn how clear and concise documentation can increase project adoption, 2. Improve tool sustainability, and foster a collaborative learning environment. NB: This project started off at the Wikimedia Hackathon 2024 which we are looking forward in running this project across the Wikimedia Hackathon,Wikimania Hackathon and WikiIndaba Hackathon.
