Connections made
editMet online with different volunteers from the rest of Africa and beyond and got their perspective on Wikimedia and its activities. I glad to get in touch with Faith Mwanyolo from kenya, Erasmus Kamugisha from Tanzania, and Hussein Mmbaga from Tanzania.
Learning points
editWiki Indaba 2021 was unique and easy to attend, being online, it made it possible to interact remotely in comfort. furthermore, the sessions were short and easy to keep tabs on, there were no boring moments.
Outcome
editI plan to broaden my scope of contribution. i keenly attended the session on Heritage and it tickled my interest, i intend to start contributing in this area. I also learnt more about Wikimedia commons and licensing which i will replicate in my future submissions.
