New connections made:

I made new connections with more wikimedians from Tanzania especially the local Dar es Salaam community. We assisted each other in understanding and reflecting more on the topics.

A useful learning pattern:

1. Having online & hybrid events is awesome, it gives a chance for those who can not attend. Also sites like Airmeet are the best because they record and store the events in case one wishes to attend but gets an emergency.

2. Swahili is a language spoken by most of East and Central Africans, there is a need for Swahili wikipedians to connect and cooperate across this vast area, it will improve efficiency (increase output) of our projects & campaigns.

Outcome:

Improved awareness on Security online, awareness on risks such as trojans and sharing of private info. Not only that, but also got exposure on modern and effective ways of connecting with fellow wikimedians.
