  • Spread the word and knowledge about Wikimedia projects in and outside the Wiki world
  • Engage and retain Wikimedians exploiting fun
  • Promote Wikimedia projects to newbies in a fun way
  • Work on memes and Internet culture content on Wikimedia projects
  • Cooperation with other organizations and social network pages active in this field
  • Monthly call or chat about Wikimedia + memes (communication of Wikimedia projects and memes on Wikimedia project), starting from December 2021
  • Online editathons/contests about Wikimedia + memes (Internet culture depiction on Wikimedia projects, categorization, organization and management), proposed for March/April 2022

  • The Facebook page was created on July 30th, 2019
  • The Telegram group was created on June 23th, 2020
  • The Instagram account was created on June 26th, 2021
  • The User Group was formed and proposed on Aug 26th, 2021
  • The social media pages were renamed into @wikimemesug on Nov 6th, 2021.
  • Who knows which social network we'll use during the summer of 2022...

We use the Telegram group as the main avenue of discussion (imagine the level of discussion a meme user group can have, asd).
