WikiWomenCamp 2017/Programme

The programme was developed based on the feedback that participants gave in the conference registration survey. The program committee identified four main goals that most participants share.

WikiWomenCamp 2017

Goals:

1. Networking and finding a better way to share and collaborate together in the future

2. Skill Building: What are the technical skills people want and need to learn? Who can teach them?

3. Outreach & Communication - how to get better allies and partners, communicating the impact of our work, how to educate wm community about gender issues

4. Information sharing: How do we create a more effective platform for knowledge sharing and collaborating across projects

Netha Hussain & Alex Wang Introduce current channels and ways Wikimedians working on gender diversity connect, share information, and support each other. Discuss in groups how those can be improved and what new ideas we have to be better connected. Brainstorm how we can be more inclusive of people that are not already involved in our projects.
