Goals of de camp
We dey intend make we provide enriching experience den quality information, ideas den collaboration give participants make dem explore insyd de future. We be committed make we bring women from diverse backgrounds make dem join de three day program encompassing keynotes, presentations, workshops den discussions, wey focus for de roles den future of women for de movement insyd along plus primary focus to bridge de gender gap. As gender gap be one of de priorities dem identify, dis platform go help we plan de necessary actions den support require to expand de initiatives wey dey go on.
We hope make we get broad representation from around de world, plus chaw experiences dem go share. As de mentorship really get positive impact for Indian Women Wikimedians post top “Wiki Women for Women Wellbeing” den “Women Train de Trainer” program, we wish we go facilitate connections den mentorship opportunities give collaboration between de movement leaders plus similar anaa complementary programs across de globe. Dis dem dey expect make e create strong network of women across de globe wey go help design more impactful, mutually beneficial den multifaceted activities anaa programs.
From de pre-covid survey results, we go fi clearly see de expectations of de communities as na der be clear majority of preference go subjects lyk Gender gap insyd editor representation, leadership den online content. Along plus dis de oda areas of interest dem prefer be editor (women) recruitment den retention, actions make dem combat harassment den dey create efficient den responsive support groups. We sanso go offer Advance Wiki training lyk, evaluation of program outcome, survey analysis, tools, etc.
Dat survey highlight de common issues Women Wikimedians dey face across de globe, edey necessitate de change insyd action plan. De statistics of de survey dey support planning den designing de future activities as per de Wikimedia – 2030 Movement Strategy Process.
