  7. Eloquence - interested in the software side of things, also in preventing too much censorship of legitimate information (I prefer labeling potentially problematic information to removing it, so parents and educators can choose what they want to use)

  18. R3m0t Sounds like great fun. Spelling, grammar, design nitpicking. Possibly writing some content. R3m0t 00:14, 2 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  19. Pedant16:56, 3 Nov 2004 (UTC) Anything. Would be quite happy to rewrite any suitable articles for younger readers. I work with some home-school groups doing similar tasks. I would be interested in working with User:Eloquence on 'censorship' issues, so that my wish for 'wholesomeness' and his wish to avoid censorship may somewhat temper each other. Project is very worthy, in fact I had until recently thought it was "my own idea", very glad to see it is being discussed and to see such enthusiasm from what I consider to be 'core editors'. Pedant 16:56, 3 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  20. Larsie sounds like an extremely good idea to me. i've always been an advocate for 'fun learning', for example i created the Wikifun and Mind Benders project pages in wikipedia. as well as the Department of Fun. so i beleive i would have a lot to contribute.
  21. Isomorphic I like trying to explain "neat" things from math/science in simple terms, so if anyone's doing anything along those lines, let me know on my en: talk page.

  25. Rhymeless 07:19, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC) I'd be interested in helping any way possible.. I'm probably younger than most of the people working on this project, so wouldn't mind being used as a test subject. I should be contacted, if possible, on my .en talk page, but email is okay too.

  34. GerardM 11:51, 27 Dec 2004 (UTC) People from nl:wikmedia are in discussion with Kennisnet, an organisation that does a similar thing to Wikijunior for primary/secondary schools and vocational training if wikimedia and Kennisnet, if we can cooperate. As it is really early days, this is just to indicate intrest and direction of effort.

  42. Wikijunior would be a great idea. I know a lot of children who want their own wiki, and I would head through the Celtic languages first after the English version - the Celtic languages are those originating closest to the birthplace of the English language. Scott Gall 08:34, 4 Mar 2005 (UTC)

  50. Jason@NASA 21:36, 13 May 2005 (UTC) I work with NASA in the Office of Education. While I would not be able to promise formal support, I am sure that I could share the efforts going on here with people who could advise and/or edit content on science and technology. Since I am a newbie myself, I could use some advice on soliciting assistance from individuals who may not be web saavy.[reply]

  61. Society and Culture; is what I thought its absence is conspicous. I do not have a clear idea of how I will exactly contribute under that, but I'll figure it out. --Downtownee 14:05, 24 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
