What did you spend the scholarship funds on?

1. Transportation to the Venue.

2. Foods.

3. I had to buy books and pens to take notes.

4. For the online session had to buy data bundles and airtime.

Takeaways – choose 3 specific Wikimania sessions you attended and describe your key take-aways per session.

1.Digital Security Basics: I have had a lot of insight on how to accept cookies on my data and carefully browse on the internet. This made me learn more about VPN and how to surf the internet with it.

2.Universal Code of Conduct Enforcement Guidelines Roundtable: This session, which comes just after the one on fiscal sponsorship, is one of my favorites because it offers a practical illustration of how rules in an international organization may unite various populations. It is the procedures for carrying out the process and the notion of taking into consideration our variety that make me happy. In the future, it will be beneficial for my own growth.

3.Although I was already aware that there is a push to close the gender gap in Wikipedia projects, the A + F session (especially the writing women into history) further strengthened my resolve to be a proactive participant in closing the gap.

How did you connect with other people during Wikimania 2022? How did you celebrate at Wikimania 2022?

I had the opportunity to make new friends during the in person sessions and network with other well noted people during the virtual sessions. After the program we had a lot of fun; we played games and did some edit challenge.
