How did you attend Wikimania (virtually or in-person)?

I attend the wikimania 2022 virtually in pheedloop. I wanted to attend the in person wikimania organized by WMBD in Bangladesh. But got rejected by WMBD. So I Attend wikimania only virtually.

What did you spend the scholarship funds on?

In the response of this question, I want to tell something. I started my wikipedia journey 2 years ago. I was very active then. But after few months of contribution my only digital device lost and I couldn'r be able to conntribute anymore since a few days ago. But thanks to wikimedia foundation because they give me another chance to start contributing again. I got scholarship! Few days ago with the amount of scholarship, I bought a (potato) PC. With this pc, I attended the whole online wikimania and now I am planning to start contributing again.

Hand off to Wikimania 2023:
Fom this session I came to know about the COT and other organizers. I didn't know how the cot members are selected and how the wikimania is being organized before this session. They gave a brief idea about the next wikimania which will be arranged in Singapore. From this session I became inspired by one of the COT member named Nanoir. Because he was a volunteer in previous wikimania and become COT member this year!!
The Grand Tour of Wikimedia:
The session was quite enjoyable to me. Their concept and event layout appealed to me. The gathering they discussed in the session is a particular style of international wikimedian meeting. But this isn't just a gathering. Participants can learn skills from the other wikimedians here, for this reason. It will motivate new Wikimedians to put in more effort and aid in the improvement of their skills. And the best part is that if a participant can't go on the trip, they can still get funding. I respect their fundamental values. Considering that it will increase the participant's comfort. The tour will be ecologically sustainable, as planned. As a result, they will employ train instead of plane.

How did you connect with other people during Wikimania 2022? How did you celebrate at Wikimania 2022?

The Wikimania 2022 was really a festive like event. I enjoyed the event so much. It was my first wikimania as a participant. I was also a volunteer in this wikimania. As a volunteer, I had to connect with the participant and the fellow volunteers. I enjoyed to connect with new peoples. I got some awesome fellow volunteers, volunteer manager, fellow participant. I was so exited before joining the event. When the event came to an end, literally I become sad. Thanks again to the COT team to arrange the awesome event!
