On January 14, 2014 Armenian wikicommunity celebrated Wikipedia day in Wikimedia Armenia office. We had many guests among which there were editors, Wikipedia Education program students and just people who wanted to share our happiness. During the ceremony Wikimedia Armenia gave a book as a present to the editor 23artashes for the 100 000th article written in December, 2013.
The ceremony was an informal one during which active wikipedians had a presentation about Wikipedia, its creation, development, statistics, etc. The event was marked by the fact that Armenian Wikipedia became the leader in the region in January for the first time with 107 000 articles. Georgian Wikipedia had 80 000 and Azerbaijani Wikipedia - 97 000 articles at that time [1][2][3]․ (See the video reportage of the event here.)
