The historical mosques in the Edirne region and many cultural assets that the mosques host have been documented by photography. It also contains dozens of items.
During the tour, around 40 mosques and more than ten other cultural structures were photographed. As a result, 1000+ images belonging to 40+ mosques were uploaded to Commons. Apart from these, 10+ other cultural assets were also photographed and uploaded to Commons. Before the tour, the construction of 43 Mosques was opened. 500+ edits were made. All items were connected to the Wikiadata file and Wikidata items were hosted and existing ones were edited. Improvements regarding the items are ongoing.

The tour of 40 different mosques on the list prepared before the tour was planned. Especially, the detailed route was contributed to be kept quite quickly before the tour. The presence of a single vehicle and few people was coordinated and communication was at the highest level. Especially during the drive, vehicle navigation provides a very high level of comfort. Following navigation from the phone during information is a very difficult issue, especially in the city. In addition, rechargeable devices that provide intensive phone use are very important. It makes the area and subject of dominance much easier. In tours made in winter conditions, it is necessary to keep the vehicle warm and to pay attention to clothing. Although the air temperature forecast was 8-12 degrees two days before the tour, it became 4 degrees on average during the tour. It was revealed that it is necessary to be prepared for this situation. It was quite effective for users to master the subject. Unpredictable weather being hazy is the standards presented by the photo. |
