Summary

Wikipedia Education Program is one of the most successful programs run by Wikimedia Armenia. One of its unique features is that it is implemented not only in educational institutions but also in WikiClubs throughout Armenia. The presentation will be based on the experience of a WM AM WikiClub - Lernapat WikiClub, which has a notable success since its establishment in 2015.

First will be discussed the idea of WikiClub, way of establishment, general overview of WM AM's Wikiclubs will be given. Wikipedia Education Program in a WikiClub works on two levels - Wiktionary and Wikipedia. How do newbies learn to edit on Wiktionary? What they edit and learn? What do experienced Wiktionary editors do and how do they progress to Wikipedia editing. What Wikipedia editors edit?

WM AM supports all WikiClubs in Armenia. We try to provide sources to work on and share best WikiClub experiences with educators and new WikiClubs. We also track WikiClubs activity, create monthly reports and statistics.
