Summary

During the presentation, we will explain in details how Wikimedia Armenia organizes WikiCamps. We will start from the beginning of the preparations (i.e. finding the venue, preparing on-wiki activity, technical and accommodation issues etc.) to the after-camp assessments. The presentation will include:

  1. Choosing best Wikipedia Education program participants, call for participation and registration form
  2. Camp leader, group leaders and WikiCamp groups
  3. The venue, arrangement of campers in the venue and workshop rooms
  4. Insurance, security, medical care of campers
  5. Schedule of wikicamp
  6. Out of wiki activity: Sport and intellectual games
  7. On wiki activity: Choosing daily themes, how participants edit on Wikipedia, Wiktionary and Wikisource
  8. WikiTeam, checking and assessing campers' activity
  9. Establishing WikiClubs on the basis of WikiCamp success
  10. and more

Expected outcomes
