Summary

Did you know that only 14,4% of bios in italian Wikipedia are about women? WikiDonne is a group of users whose purpose is to improve the coverage of women's topics in Wikipedia, by creating lists of articles (to be created, to be improved and to be translated) and organizing events and partnerships. Men are always welcome, our intention is not to turn Wikipedia into Womenpedia but to make everyone aware of the reality of gender gap. A thematic project (called WikiDonne too) and a Feminism portal in italian Wikipedia, Art & Feminism and La mujer que nunca conociste campaigns and Women in CEE countries editathon writing about: roumanian teather and cinema actress Elvira Popescu, polish activist and writer Cywia Lubetkin, montenegrin handball player Katarina Bulatović, ucrain poetess and activist Olena Ivanivna Teliha, bulgarian writer and politician Blaga Nikolova Dimitrova, russian painter Zinaida Evgen'evna Serebrjakova, president of Estonia Kersti Kaljulaid (extended) and others.
