Abstract (up to 100 words)

I will give you a brief overview of how our residency programme works, how we work with institutions and why we decided to establish a closer collaboration between GLAM and Wikidata. We will show several types of collaborations and different versions of the residency program as well as visions for the future.

How will this session be beneficial for the communities in the region of Central and Eastern Europe?

In just one year we have managed to bring GLAM to a pretty good level. We believe that other countries can do it too, and we want to inspire them to do it, because we believe that GLAM is a great programme that can make the work of Wikipedians more visible and cultural institutions more open to the public.
