This project of WMCH was Started in 2021 as a spin-of of Wiki Science Competition.

The project was financed also via different small grants and reimboursements since 2022-2023.

These initiatives aimed to develop a more functional ecosystem designed for long-term accessibility, fostering openness to both third parties and newcomers.

  • 2023/05 - Contest - TicinoScienza ID - User:Alexmar983, User:Epìdosis - contestants - This initiative aimed to demonstrate the effectiveness of competitions in fostering literacy among researchers in the domain of authority control.
  • 2024/08 - Wikimania and 2024/11 Wikidata Days Bologna (reimboursed) - User:Alexmar983 - These presencesaimed to emphasize the potential publication of specialized academic literature to effectively illustrate the issue for a broad technical audience. It led to the standardization of d:Wikidata:WikiCite/Country-level initiatives and different activities.
